Junior Golf Programs
Dear Junior Golfers and Parent(s),
As we look forward to the 2009 golf season we have some exciting news to share with you.
Because of your support and continued hospitality of Door Creek Golf Course we were able to achieve an extremely important award in 2007. The U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Kids Teachers award. This award is presented to the Top 50 junior golf programs in the Nation on an annual basis. We would like to thank all of you who were part of the 2007 junior program and we will continue to make every effort for perfection in the following years for all new students.
The key factors to insure success to our program are: fun, honesty and knowledge. We make it very clear that all students should be here to have fun. It is the most important thing we teach and practice each and every season.
Honesty plays a very important role in our program. Counting all of their strokes, playing by the rules, and calling penalties on themselves. We feel this leads to honesty and integrity not only in the game of golf but in life lessons as well.
We want all students to be knowledgable about the game of golf. We want them to go home and tell their parents or grandparents something about the game of golf or the rules that their elders are not aware of.
Mission Statement
We will provide a safe, fun, friendly learning environment for all of our students through teaching the importance of self improvement, confidence, respect, and group participation.
